So after living in our home for 6 years we finally decided to get rid of our carpet and refinish the hardwood floor that was hiding underneath.

We never imagined they would be in such great shape. I love them!!

Why would anyone cover them. Of course, it was probably done in the 70's.

4/21/09 Megan: She was sitting on my feet and requesting I walk around with her. After a few steps she says, "Can you handle it?" I laughed. She is so funny!
4/14/09 Megan: When I asked Megan what she wanted for her birthday dinner, she stated, "Cake, ice cream and cup cakes." I explained that that was dessert and asked what else. She said, "Cottage Cheese!"
11/3/08 Megan: "Don't keep asking me ok? Just zip your lips!"
10/26/08: Megan says, "When I get big like Daddy, then I'll be boss!"
Last Night (10/9/08) I was giving flu shots at the grocery store by my house and this cute little African American girl about 3 comes driving by in one of those car/carts. She says, "HI!!" I smile back at her and say, "Hello." Then she says, "What you lookin' at?" I couldn't believe it. I was in shock. Kids hear all we say and repeat them at some of the worst times. Hmmm...
Megan's latest thing to say or ask is, "Mommy where I going afer (no T) nigh nigh?" Then I tell her and she follows it up with "Where I going afer that?" She is so interested in our everyday plans.
I am picking a "sore/pimple" on Megan's arm and she says, "That is bird poop!"
Megan: (she is supposed to be asleep) "Mommy my leg hurts and it not tired. It wants to stay up."
